Our Story
Peacock Market and Meals was created a few weeks after Ben was laid-off from his executive chef position at a large restaurant in Cambridge due to the COVID-19 Pandemic. Originally called Dinners by Ben, Ben worked to turn cooking meals for friends and family into a thriving at-home meal delivery service and market showcasing chef and artisan created culinary products.
Chef Benjamin Peacock
Classically trained at the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park NY, Ben completed his bachelors in 2011 and immediately became a member of the prestigious opening team at Menton, in Boston. He moved up from Commis to Sous Chef before moving to Burgundy France to be a private chef and wine harvest intern at the prestigious Domaine Dujac. When he returned he was a part of the opening team at Woods Hill Table as the Executive Sous Chef. After four years he was hired to be the Executive Chef of a new restaurant group and consulted in opening two restaurants including Lily Pās in Cambridge, where he was the executive chef before it was abruptly closed due to COVID-19.
